Wood Countertops
There are all sorts of countertop materials available out there if you are looking to upgrade yours.
You may have looked at marble, granite, limestone and laminate and not really got a good feeling about any of them.
There is still that ever popular material that we use for some many things and thats wood.
Wood is such a fantastic material in that it is soft when it needs to be and hard when it needs to be at the same time.
It shows by how much we use it for so many different applications and how many diffrent types of wood there are that we can use.
For kitchen countertops wood works really well as it is much softer than many materials and also warmer.
Solid wood can also take marks and scratches without looking too bad and if they become too much they can just be sanded out, but even with them in the wood will show age and character.
