Your kitchen is possibly one of the areas in your home that you spend the most time, so its actually a very important focal point of the home. Its the place where everyone ends up at parties, dinners etc. So for most homeowners the look and feel of their kitchen is a top priority. Usually the kitchen is one section of the home where even the least house proud occupants and usually not afraid to splash out. And one are where creativity and experimentation can come into play is in the design and choice of tiling for kitchen backsplash.
I recently discovered a tile designer named Daniel Ogassian at a design show in Los Angeles and I wanted to share his work with you.
You can find his site at http://www.ogassian.com. He designs ceramic and concrete wall and floor tiles with a clean and futurist shape. They have warm and organic textures that add depth to any surface.
Daniel used his textured “Optic” tile from his concrete tile collection on the walls, the sink is by Alape: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2691/4489496037_c2528df575.jpg
Your kitchen is probably the most important room in your home. If you don't believe that, just ask a realtor or estate agent what rooms most influence a potential buyer! So make sure it looks amazing! Adding a backsplash will add a lot of style to your kitchen and really will improve how it looks.
